Molly was raised in Pennsylvania. Her first professional stage career at the age of thirteen, at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production in which she won an Barrymore Award nomination. In 2002, she played the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway at the age of fifteen and was awarded the Drama League Award nomination. Molly has also been seen on Broadway in the stage production in Fiddler on the Roof. She graduated in 2008 and graduated with her B.A. from Princeton University. in Religious Studies. In the year 2000, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. Following graduation, Molly was in Off-Broadway productions of several productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in television work including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in regional plays like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Barrington Stage Company's production and NSH Music Theatre's production of 2008 and Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank, in which she played Anne.
