Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22nd, 1985 New York City New York) is well-known for her abilities to perform across various genres from historical dramas, thrillers and action-packed films. Johansson was raised within New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also an executive from a production firm. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. At the age of seven years old, she started making auditions for TV commercials. Then she began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan for further training in her craft. Her debut came as an actor in the film North (1994) at the age of nine. She was just eight when she appeared with Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson then appeared as a character in Just Cause, but she made her debut with Manny & Lo, a film about orphaned siblings who run away. She next earned the attention of critics for her character as a teenage girl who had a life-threatening accident The Horse Whisperer (1998) and she gained further attention in the role of a sarcastic teen outcast Rebecca on the set of Ghost World (2001). She is also a talented stage performer. She delivered stunning performances in Wildflower as well as other stage productions. Renee Felice Smith started her profession in the entertainment industry at a young age. In her childhood she was captivated by acting. Smith got her first of her acting gigs when she was just 6. In a commercial on television Smith starred as Dannon Yogurt. As with many actresses who started out, she decided to perfect her craft in the world of theatre. While she made her on-stage debut in Wildflower she would also work with various theatre projects in the USA. She was a graduate of at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
